Hunter Biden’s Legal Threat to Fox News Over ‘Intimate’ Photos

Lawyers issue ultimatum over use of controversial images in Fox Nation series

In a bold legal move, attorneys representing Hunter Biden, the embattled son of President Joe Biden, have issued a stern warning to Fox News, demanding the removal of what they describe as “intimate” photos of their client from a controversial series on the network’s streaming service. Failure to comply could result in legal action.

Allegations of Misuse and Manipulation

Accusations of exploiting scandal-scarred images for commercial gain. In a scathing letter dated April 23, Hunter Biden’s legal team, led by prominent attorney Tina Glandian of Geragos & Geragos, accused Fox News of engaging in “reprehensible” conduct by utilizing “salacious” and “hacked” images of Hunter Biden in its six-part series titled “The Trial of Hunter Biden.”

The series, presented as a mock trial examining Hunter Biden’s alleged transgressions, prominently features controversial images retrieved from his notorious laptop. These images depict Hunter in compromising situations, including nudity and drug use, alongside various women.

Legal Grounds and Commercial Exploitation

Claiming violation of rights and exploitation for commercial benefit. Hunter Biden’s lawyers argue that the use of these explicit images in a purportedly fictionalized series constitutes a violation of their client’s rights. They contend that Fox News is exploiting Hunter Biden’s name, image, and likeness for its own commercial gain, rather than presenting factual news content.

Attorney Glandian asserts that since “The Trial of Hunter Biden” is marketed as entertainment rather than news, the network’s use of the controversial images is solely for the purpose of trade and advertising, further exacerbating the alleged infringement.

Ongoing Legal Battles

Hunter Biden faces criminal cases amidst legal skirmish with Fox News. While fighting against what they perceive as media exploitation, Hunter Biden and his legal team are concurrently entangled in multiple criminal cases. These include a gun-related charge in Delaware and a tax evasion case in Los Angeles, to which Hunter has pleaded not guilty.
