A Massachusetts woman has been arrested and charged with the shooting of her parents, an incident that resulted in the deaths of both individuals. Jessica Cavallaro, 24, was arraigned on Thursday in Concord District Court, facing serious charges in connection with the tragic event.

Jessica Cavallaro is charged with two counts of murder, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, and illegal possession of a firearm. During her arraignment, she was ordered to be held without bail. Her next court appearance is scheduled for August 20.

The shooting took place on Thursday morning on Washington Street in Bedford, a town located approximately 20 miles northwest of Boston. Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan identified the victims as Thelma Tatten and Mark Cavallaro, both 56 years old.

Emergency Response and Investigation

The incident came to light after police received a 911 call from an individual reporting that a woman had entered their home and disclosed the shootings. Upon investigating, the caller found Tatten and Cavallaro suffering from gunshot wounds in a nearby parked car. Tatten was pronounced dead at the scene, while Cavallaro, who sustained life-threatening injuries, was transported to a hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
