attorney Dale GalipoDale K. Galipo is the founder and principal of Law Offices of Dale K. Galipo in Woodland Hills, California. Originally from a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, he earned a business administration degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, before going on to receive his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in 1984.

In the 1990s, Mr. Galipo built a remarkable track record as both a criminal defense and personal injury attorney. Nicknamed “The Strikes Man” by the Daily Journal Los Angeles, he secured multiple jury acquittals in “three strikes” cases. From 1995 to 1996 alone, he achieved six consecutive jury acquittals in major felony trials. Demonstrating his prowess in personal injury law, he also won multimillion-dollar verdicts during this period.

As his career progressed, Mr. Galipo turned his focus to civil rights cases involving police misconduct. By 2004, he was consistently obtaining seven-figure jury verdicts on behalf of victims of excessive force and police abuse. In 2011, he won ten civil rights cases in a single year. Recognizing his contributions, the Inland Empire Chapter of the Federal Bar Association honored him with the Defender of the Constitution Award in 2012, and UC Davis School of Law presented him with the Martin Luther King award. In 2020, he received two notable distinctions: CAALA Trial Lawyer of the Year and CAOC Consumer Attorney of the Year.

In both 2023 and 2024, Mr. Galipo was listed among The Daily Journal’s Top Plaintiff’s Lawyers. During 2024, he was a finalist for the CAOC Attorney of the Year and one of 15 finalists for CAALA Trial Lawyer of the Year. That same year, his achievements were further acknowledged with a CLAY award from The Daily Journal’s California Lawyers Magazine.
